International advisory board

The Scientific Advisory Board is constituted by 4 international scientists. The committee will participate in yearly seminars/workshops/PhD courses, comment on proposed project activities, co-supervise PhD students, and hereby extend the International scientific network of the project. The project applicant will be the formal contact to the members of the Scientific Advisory Board, but frequent contacts will be made directly from the project’s scientific staff as well.

  • Director, Professor Michael Batty, Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, University College London (expertise: GPS, Simulation, Planning)
  • Associate. Professor Wolfgang Haider, School of Resource and Environmental Management, Simon Fraser University (expertise: Choice experiments)
  • Research Ass. Dave Horton, Lancaster Environment Centre, Lancaster University (expertise: Bicycle sociology)
